Your prescription, is a set of numbers that describe the focusing ablility of your eyes and what kind of lens is needed to correct any vision problem. It is needed to manufacture your spectacles accurately.

The prescription is divided as follows

•    SPHERE - this relates to longsightedness (Hypermetropia) or shortsightedness     (myopia)

•   CYLINDER - this relates to Astigmatism

•   AXIS - This relates to how the lens needs to be set in your glasses so that you see the clearest

•   ADD - This relates to your reading prescription (Presbyopia)
